Feeling Peckish-Stock your fridge with some Homemade Fudge

Very Simple Homemade Protein Packed Fudge for SnackingThis is as a healthy-ish as you can get when making and eating fudge. No refined sugars, butter or over-sweet condensed milk. I spent years in the trade making traditional fudge, now don’t get me wrong, traditional fudge is damn tasty but not what you want to eat if you fancy a healthier lifestyle.

I messed around for a while coming up with a fudge recipe such as this one simply because I love fudge plus wanted to incorporate some extra protein into my body as I train. Take out the honey and use pale syrup to make it vegan-friendly.

Also, as a man weak to snacks, these work perfectly to hold me back from indulging in unhealthy snacks such as biscuits. Recently I’ve started intermittent fasting, using apple cider vinegar and cutting back on carbs. So, I’m trying to cut out the crap. I’ve just started so in a month I plan to do a post on my results to see what change to my body came about.

So for now, if, like me, you are fudge mad, give this a bash…it is damn simple. Plus, use whatever nut-butter you like but stay clear or mainstream brands as well as brands that claim ‘Natural.’ Go as organic as you can, look for just nuts and salt. The other brands are usually packed with trans-fats, hanging about and punching your gut. Let me know in the comments your thoughts.
